Burchett votes against 2nd effort to impeach President Trump

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Jan. 13, 2021) – Today, U.S. Representative Tim Burchett (TN-02) voted against an article of impeachment accusing President Donald Trump of inciting an insurrection. Rep. Burchett released the following statement:

“Every single thug who rioted last week acted of their own free will and is personally responsible for their crimes. They were not forced by President Trump to do what they did, and the President should have called his supporters off long before he did. Rushing impeachment through the House won’t fix the problems that led to the assault on the Capitol Building.”

Burchett's thought process is

Burchett's thought process is the same that allowed leaders as Hitler to become a menace to society. All one has to do is look at the control Trump possesses over Burchetts mind. He doesn't seem to be able to comprehend this.
He really is simple minded. And to think I bragged on him a few times when he was mayor. Fool me once!
