Although there was record voter turnout around the country for the 2020 presidential election, Tennessee ranked in the bottom 5 for least record voter turnout at 59.8%. Tennessee joins Oklahoma (55%), Arkansas (56.1%), Hawaii (57.5%), and West Virginia (57.6%) in the bottom 5.

In 2020 66.7% of the voter eligible population turned out to vote, the highest percentage in over 100 years.
