I've never heard a Council member rattle on for so long using prepared notes.
I was in class and then the grocery and got home just in time to see the last vote. Was it on the Tennova thing?
The vote was 5-3 to support the zoning change.
Who were the five and who were the three?
There are good arguments on both sides, but assurances from current Tennova employees ain't one. We have no clue who will own that hospital. Well, we do have a clue – it'll be some kind of hedge fund outfit.
The Sisters of Mercy ain't running things anymore.
(hmmm reminds me of one of my fave Lenoard Cohen songs. I better get over to that other thread)
Grieve, Saunders, Pavlis, Palmer and Wallace
Della Volpe, Campen and Brown.
Sort of the West v the Rest, except for Pavlis, who seemed to be the swing vote, if there was one.
