These laws make it harder for working people to form unions and collectively bargain for better wages, benefits and working conditions.”

The AFL-CIO also points out that federal laws have prohibited union membership from being a condition of employment since 1947, making RTW laws a redundancy

President-Elect Biden

made it clear yesterday that he will include unions in the rebuilding economy. And union leaders AND business leaders were at the table yesterday which were said to be very successful talks.

If it were so easy....

Biden can do a little to help unions...appoint people to the National Labor Relations Board and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration...but corporations and especially Republicans will fight to minimize unions as hard as they can.
