When: Thursday, September 20, 2018 - 6:00pm
Where: Monte VIsta Baptist Church

Blount County United’s Education Committee and Blount County SURJ welcome the public to participate in a workshop on “Community Well-Being with a Racial Justice Lens.”

Join us as we explore our family histories, learn about policies and practices that produced financial differences we see today,
and consider policy changes and community projects we can promote to address the legacy of racism.

This is the first in a series of community workshops that will use a racial justice lens to look at community well-being.

The workshop is scheduled for Thursday, September 20 at 6 p.m. and will be held at Monte Vista Baptist Church, 1735 Old Niles Ferry Rd, Maryville.
