The hauntings will occur October 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 30th, and 31st from 7 to 10pm.

Just received this email from Jim Whidby with Cherokee Caverns:

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooo Friends of Historic Cherokee Caverns,

The Haunted Cave was retired after 20 years, in 2008.

By many request, my son Michael is bringing it back for FIVE nights this year.

I would appreciate your help passing this on through email lists, newsletters, facebook, etc.

All information can be found at (link...)

This year the caverns will feature THE WORLD's ONLY UNDERGROUND VORTEX TUNNEL.

It took more than two months to construct and is more than 20 ft. long and revolves around you at 5 RPM.

I appreciate all your support and hope to see you soon,
