Compass and the East Tennessee chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists are hosting a special screening of the 1976 film All the President's Men, Saturday, Nov. 9, at Central Cinema, 1205 N. Central St.

The 7 p.m. screening Saturday will be preceded by a 6 p.m. panel discussion on the significance of the film and the state of journalism then and now. The panel will include Al Tompkins of the Poynter Institute; Catherine Luther, director of the School of Journalism and Electronic Media at UT Knoxville; John North, senior investigative journalist at WBIR; and Scott Barker and Jesse Mayshark of Compass.

The panel discussion is free and open to the public. Tickets for the film screening will be available at the Central Cinema box office. You can find ticket information at Central Cinema's website.
